How the reward system works

It's simple: get up, snap the photo, solve puzzles, earn tickets. With Premium, you're in the monthly draw.

   Set your alarm

   Pick your wake-up time and the sound for your morning challenge: 6 nature soundscapes, 11 music tracks or Random song.

   Snap a photo, then solve puzzles

   When your alarm fires, the main action is Start Challenge, not snooze. First you walk to the household object the app names — a sink, a toothbrush, the coffee maker — and photograph it. Then you complete at least 5 quick brain challenges — math, memory, word scrambles, sequences, pattern recognition, or Stroop tests. Hard Mode requires 8.

   Earn tickets

   The required puzzles earn base tickets — Easy = 2 per puzzle, Medium = 4, Hard = 6 — multiplied by your current streak multiplier. With Premium, extra puzzles solved within the minimum puzzle time earn bonus tickets. Tickets count once a day, for the first challenge you complete within 5 minutes of the alarm.

   Enter the monthly prize draw

   With Premium, your tickets go into the monthly draw (switch on Sweepstakes Entry in Settings). Multiple winners are picked on the 1st of each month for Amazon gift cards — not digital badges or in-app coins.

Why it actually works

Traditional alarm apps rely on willpower. WakeWin gives you an external incentive, the same pull that makes streaks and loyalty rewards work, applied to your morning routine. You're not fighting yourself to get up. You're playing for something.

The puzzle requirement is also built to break the sleepy tap-and-fall-back-asleep loop. You genuinely have to be awake — mentally engaged — to complete the challenge. By the time you've snapped the photo and finished your puzzles, you're up.

WakeWin runs a monthly prize draw for Premium subscribers, with Amazon gift cards as the prizes. Multiple winners per month, drawn on the 1st. The more consistent you are and the harder the difficulty you choose, the more tickets you accumulate, and the better your odds.

Is it free?

Yes. WakeWin is free to download on the App Store. The free version gives you one alarm with the full challenge — Photo Verify, the puzzles and the optional Require Movement setting — plus all the nature sounds and music, base tickets, streaks and achievements. Premium (€7.99 / month or €44.99 / year) adds entry to the monthly prize draw, unlimited alarms, your choice of puzzle types, Hard Mode, bonus tickets and the Perfect Month reward. Android is coming soon.
