WakeWin is an iOS alarm app built for people who can't trust themselves with the snooze button. Instead of just buzzing until you tap it off, WakeWin requires you to prove you're actually awake — and then rewards you for it.

When your alarm fires, you can't simply dismiss it. You have to solve 10 brain puzzles drawn from six categories: mental arithmetic, word scrambles, number sequences, memory challenges, pattern recognition, and Stroop tests. The mix varies each morning so it never feels rote. Once the puzzles are solved, the alarm still won't dismiss until your iPhone's pedometer registers at least 1 metre or 3 steps of movement — proof you're vertical, not just tapping in bed.

Premium users get one more layer: Photo Verify. The app picks a specific household object (kettle, toilet, kitchen sink, bathroom mirror, and so on) and you have to find it and photograph it. An on-device AI verification call confirms the photo matches the requested object. Photos are never stored — only the verdict.

Each puzzle solved earns lottery tickets — one for Easy, two for Medium, three for Hard. Standard mode requires 10 puzzles per alarm; Hard Mode requires 15. Streak multipliers compound on top: 1× under 7 days, 1.25× from day 7, 1.5× from day 14, 1.75× from day 30, 2× from day 60 onwards. Tickets are earned for the first successfully dismissed alarm each day only. At the end of each month, multiple winners are drawn for real prizes. Not in-app coins, not digital confetti — physical goods, gift cards, and experiences.

The marquee Premium reward is "Perfect Month": complete every alarm under the strictest rules for a full calendar month (Hard Mode on, zero snoozes, motion verified, photo verified, 80%+ completion) and your next month of Premium is free. It's designed to be hard — most users won't hit it on their first attempt.

Reliability matters more for an alarm than any other type of app, so WakeWin is built on Apple's AlarmKit — the same system-level API the built-in Clock app uses. It fires through Silent Mode, Focus, Do Not Disturb, and even when the app is force-quit. Lock Screen UI, Dynamic Island countdown, and Apple Watch alarm mirroring are all built in. WakeWin requires iOS 26 or later. iPad is supported in "Designed for iPhone" mode. Android is on the roadmap.

WakeWin is available in 14 languages including English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Arabic with full right-to-left support.
